Security is always paramount when it comes to crypto-currency. Your email and phone are currently used as the communication channels should any risk being identified. Please make sure:
- Your email filter doesn’t spam ACX emails
- Your phone is secure and data being backed up.
If you only have provided us with your email ONLY then this will be the primary source of contact to you. Please ensure that your email client is not marking our emails as spam/junk. If this occurs we may disable your account and you will then have to reach out to our support team for re-activation.
Upon signup your email and phone number is verified. Most account operations rely on their authenticity. An Email or SMS will be sent out to you should any suspicious activities being detected. In some circumstances, a particular operation will intentionally pause for a period of time to reduce the security risk and allow the user to make contact with our team should something be out of the ordinary.
tip: to reduce the noise of email notifications, you can opt-out some of them on settings page.
For the best practice, it’s recommended to
- enable 2FA on your email.
- backup your phone regularly, including Google Authenticator
